The percentage of people who have been seen within four hours in all types of accident and emergency (A[HTML_REMOVED]E) departments in London Hospitals.[HTML_REMOVED]The data includes the following by NHS hospital and for London as a whole:• Performance against 4-hour wait for A[HTML_REMOVED]E attendances, 2008/09• Performance against 4-hour wait for A[HTML_REMOVED]E attendances, 2009/10• Performance against 4- hour wait for attendances, Quarter 1, 2010/11Data source: Department of Health QMAE return*Types of A[HTML_REMOVED]E/minor injury unit (MIU) services are:Type 1 A[HTML_REMOVED]E department = A consultant led 24 hour service with full resuscitation facilities and designated accommodation for the reception of accident and emergency patients. Type 2 A[HTML_REMOVED]E department = A consultant led single specialty accident and emergency service (e.g. ophthalmology, dental) with designated accommodation for the reception of patients. Type 3 A[HTML_REMOVED]E department = Other type of A[HTML_REMOVED]E/minor injury units (MIUs)/Walk-in Centres with designated accommodation for the reception of accident and emergency patients.
